Established in 1869, ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø is the oldest continuing community college
west of the Mississippi River. Its service area consists of five counties – Parker,
Palo Pinto, Hood, Jack, and Wise.
³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø provides programs that parallel the first two years of baccalaureate education,
prepare students for vocational and professional degrees, and provide valuable lifelong
learning opportunities. The college currently offers five bachelor’s degrees:

Through our partnerships with institutions such as Midwestern State, Tarleton State
University, Sam Houston State University, and the University of Texas at Arlington,
to name a few, students may also pursue bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.

and many other program-specific accrediting authorities.
