吃瓜官网 students now have access to $1.1 million in childcare assistance through a recent grant with the Texas Workforce Commission.
Childcare support through Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students in need of childcare support are encouraged to register immediately at the .

Once registered, the state will issue a voucher to the student, which can be used at their chosen childcare provider. Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas has negotiated rates with providers to ensure affordability.
鈥淎ll families who meet our eligibility requirements will be assessed a weekly parent share of cost based on their gross monthly income, but it will not be more than 7 percent of their calculated income per month,鈥� explained Kelley Fontenot, senior workforce development manager for childcare with Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas.
Students with no income will not have to pay a share of the childcare cost.
