Occupational Therapy Assistant is one of the fastest growing professions in the medical
field. The future demand for OTAs is projected to grow faster than the national average
for all professions.
The ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program is a two-year
curriculum (approximately 20 months after prerequisites are complete) comprised of
classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences. It is located on campus
of ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø. The course of study is designed to prepare the graduate to
work under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist and provide occupational
therapy services to people with physical, mental, emotional or development disabilities.
The ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø OTA Program has been nationally accredited since 2013. Graduates
from the program maintain an excellent pass rate on national licensing board exam.
³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø’s Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program is accredited by
the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American
